For academic programs, partnerships can lead to high impact teaching and learning opportunities that result in creative accomplishments for students and faculty. Focus on Japan: Cinema, Art, and Culture a four-day celebration and exhibition of Japanese cinema, art and culture, presented by CU Denver’s College of Arts & Media, the Denver Film Society and The Consul General of Japan in Denver. April 7-11, 2010.
Denver Day of Rock Poster Contest Concerts For Kids is a Denver-based non-profit organization that raises funds for, and awareness of, local children’s charities. In collaboration with Concerts for Kids and the annual Denver Day of Rock event, we established a poster contest for CAM students.
UCD Mix Performs for the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) Luncheon Spring 2014.
Denver Theatre District Collaboration Holiday music performance at the Galleria and student and faculty work presented on downtown jumbotrons located in the Theatre District.
The Consul General of Japan in Denver Developed a collaboration to bring Kouhei Nishino and Tsugumi Nishino, acclaimed Japanese Manga-Ka artists to campus for a master class and public presentation.
