Elected to the National Board of Directors to serve in a leadership capacity as a board member and member of the executive team. Engaged in strategic planning efforts to guide the organization and manage resources and programming effectively, fundraising, program development, board development, and support the development and delivery of annual national and regional conferences. Positions held within this time period included; 2008 National Conference Chair, Regional Affairs Committee Chair, Advancement Committee, Executive Committee Secretary, Chair of Publications, 2011 National Conference Committee member.
